# iOS

The iOS SDK supports Bluetooth card readers and Tap to Pay on iPhone in the same package.

Start with the [quickstart](/terminal-payments/sdks/ios/quickstart/) to take your first sandbox payment with a card reader.

## Integration guides

- [Set up the SDK](/terminal-payments/sdks/ios/setup/)
- [Authenticate a merchant](/terminal-payments/sdks/ios/authentication/)
- [Connect and manage readers](/terminal-payments/sdks/ios/readers/)
- [Accept reader payments](/terminal-payments/sdks/ios/payments/)
- [Accept Tap to Pay payments](/terminal-payments/sdks/ios/tap-to-pay/)
- [Reference and errors](/terminal-payments/sdks/ios/reference/)

## Testing and offline payments

- [Set up a sandbox merchant](/terminal-payments/quickstart/#sandbox-merchant-account).
- [Test successful payments and declines](/terminal-payments/testing/).
- [Accept offline reader payments](/terminal-payments/offline-payments/). Tap to Pay does not support offline payments.

## Sample app

A [sample app](https://github.com/sumup/sumup-ios-sdk/tree/master/SampleApp) is provided in the SDK repository. It demonstrates SDK setup, login, checkout, and card reader settings in a minimal Swift project.

To run it, clone the [repository](https://github.com/sumup/sumup-ios-sdk) and open `SampleApp/SumUpSDKSampleApp.xcodeproj` in Xcode.

## Out of scope

The following functions are handled by the [SumUp APIs](/api/):

- [Refunds](/api/transactions/refund/)
- [Transaction history](/api/transactions/list/)
- [Receipts](/api/receipts/get/)
- [Account management](/api/tags/merchants/)
